The first thing you will notice about El Triumpho 2022 is its softness on the palate and the intense pronounced red fruit character. Great balance this year.

Fruitier and more ripened than last year. Lots of red berries and perhaps some extra hints of black fruit (due to the warm conditions) are present.

The colour is spectacular as always. As you know, this hybrid grape has also colour in the pulp which gives huge purple intensity to the wine. I love it. I could paint with it!

The herbal side and that touch of bitterness are there, the signature of the American vinifera in the DNA of el Triumpho. You are who you are. Your past also made you. You are carrying your ancestors with you.

This year we bottled 562 bottles by hand with the help of Bart, Sofia and Eva. Thank you guys.
